Fabrizio Boscaglia received his PhD in Philosophy from the University of Lisbon in 2015, with a thesis on the Arabic and Islamic presence in Fernando Pessoa’s thought and philosophical writings.
His current research project focuses on the Arabic and Islamic presence in Portuguese Thought, Philosophy and Literature from the Middle Ages to the Present.
From 2009 to 2012 he was lector (teaching assistant) of the specialization courses “Philosophy and Oriental Studies” and “Philosophy and Literature in Contemporary Portuguese Culture” at the University of Lisbon.
From 2008 to 2010 he was part of the group of researchers who digitalized Fernando Pessoa’s private library (Fernando Pessoa Digital Library).
He has presented several communications on topics concerning Portuguese Thought, Philosophy and Literature. He has published articles both in Portuguese journals and in international academic journals.
He is the coordinator and guide of the cultural walking tours “Lisbon with Fernando Pessoa”, by Lisboa Autentica.
